So this weekend is the first EAORA race weekend of the season, Ralph Herring Trophy and Pattison Cup, this year the course is from Burnham on Crouch to Mersea on Saturday and Mersea to Burnham on the Sunday, so no delivery trip back on Sunday!!

Forecast at the moment is looking like ENE 10 knots for the weekend.

Just got back from the Ramsgate SailEAST. Different format than usual rather than 2 races on Saturday and 1 on Sunday, all 3 races were on Saturday.

We had a great day on the water, with only one of two incidents (managed to do some trawling with the kite – didn’t catch any fish though!), great weather – nice and sunny with about 17knots of breeze all day.

Crew consisted of Ton and Chuffy, Dave Mallet, Me, Ian, Catherine and our local knowledge Janey Mann.

Left the boat early this morning for a quick trip back to Burnham via car while Tony and Catherine sailed Amazon back to Burnham.

Next race on the calendar is Burnham Week.
